What grades do you tutor?

I work with elementary and middle school students. If your child is just outside that range, reach out and we can talk about fit.

Where do sessions happen?

Almost always in person, at my home. I’ll send the address when we book. If you can’t come in some week, ask me about an online session. Each format has its strengths, and I’ll help you pick what’s right for your child.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions are 45 or 60 minutes, once a week. Some families do twice a week during a tough stretch, then taper off as things click. We’ll talk about what makes sense for your kid.

How much does it cost?

Current rates are on the tutoring page. If they aren’t listed there yet, reach out and I’ll share pricing and openings.

Do you offer a free intro session?

Yes — I always start with a free 15-minute call (or short meet-up) so we can get to know each other, talk about your child’s goals, and make sure we’re a good fit before committing.

My child doesn’t want a tutor. Help?

I get this one a lot. Most kids warm up quickly once they realize I’m not going to be like school. I keep the first session light, playful, and focused on getting to know them. If after a session or two it’s not clicking, no hard feelings — we’ll figure out what’s right.

What if we need to cancel?

Life happens. I ask for as much notice as you can give, but I never charge for genuine emergencies or sick days. Details on the full cancellation policy come up when we book.

How do I get started?

The easiest way is the contact page, or book a free intro call. I’ll get back to you within a day or two.

What’s a student page?

Every student gets a private page on this site with notes from our last session, what to practice, and a progress trail for each skill. Your family signs in with your email and a one-time code. More on the tutoring page.
